Kfarsoap’s Inspiration
Kfarsoap was inspired by Kfarselwan, a beautiful mountain village in Lebanon known for its fresh air, wild herbs, natural caves, and rich history.
High in the mountains of Mount Lebanon, Kfarselwan is surrounded by rocky land, clean spring water, orchards, and rare plants that grow only in this region. The cold mountain climate and rich soil help herbs and plants grow strong and naturally fragrant.
For generations, families in these mountains gathered wild herbs and used natural oils and plants in everyday life. This simple and traditional way of living became the inspiration behind Kfarsoap.
My father had a deep connection with nature, and we often spent entire days in the mountains collecting wild herbs to use as natural remedies. Those moments taught us to appreciate the healing power of plants and the beauty of living close to the earth. Among all the herbs, sage was always his favourite, a plant treasured in Lebanese tradition for its comforting aroma and timeless connection to wellness.
Every scent we create carries a connection to those deep memories. The aroma of each soap awakens feelings tied to cherished moments spent in the mountains, surrounded by nature, family, and tradition. Certain scents have the power to bring us back to places and times we hold close to our hearts, memories filled with warmth, simplicity, and love that can never truly be relived, only remembered and felt again through fragrance.
Our soaps are made with carefully selected botanical oils and mountain herbs inspired by the traditional Lebanese pantry and centuries old handmade soap traditions. We source ingredients from nature and craft each bar slowly and carefully, honoring the beauty, simplicity, and authenticity of village life in Lebanon.
Kfarsoap is more than soap, it's a connection to the mountains, the herbs, the history, the memories, and the traditions, a small piece of Lebanon carried in every bar.
